Licensed Therapist

Perform initial screening of new consumers, which includes evaluation, diagnosis and treatment planning according to state guidelines; Provide individual/family and group therapy to clients. Formulate appropriate service plans with client and/or family participation. Ensure that each client receives appropriate treatment or habilitation, which is consistent with accepted standards of practice and the needs of individual clients. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and routine staffing of individual cases. Complete necessary documentation, (Admission assessments, service plans, progress notes, etc.) Consult with psychiatrist/psychologist concerning clinical issues as necessary. Must possess initiative and judgment capabilities to promote favorable public relations and make decisions affecting service delivery to consumers. Will work under the supervision of Medical Director and perform other duties as deemed appropriate.  Must be fully licensed or have met requirements to be provisionally licensed as a LPC, LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT. If provisionally licensed must meet qualifications as a Qualified Mental Health Professional and have at least 1 year working with adults with mental health needs in a clinical setting. CCS, CCAS, or CSAC would be beneficial. Must be familiar with the DSM IV terminology and capable of making a clinical assessment. Must be able to respond therapeutically to the needs of the client and have a broad-based knowledge of different treatment modalities and the therapeutic application of those modalities.

Responsibilities: Individual therapy, comprehensive clinical assessments, development of treatment plans, documentation, and supervision. Must be able to work collaborative with other team members and agencies.

Substance Abuse Counselor
Completes substance abuse assessments for adolescents and adults and develops individualized treatment plan. Provides individual and group counseling sessions for SAIOP and SACOT program. Provide full daily progress note for consumers, document treatment and discharge planning. Performs case management and contributes to client care monitoring. Monitor consumer's progress in meeting treatment goals. Counselor must have at least one-year previous experience in substance abuse counseling.  LCAS, CSAC, QSAP, or registered-Intern with one-year experience.
